CEC undergraduate student wins the Adventus Americas Award for Student Presentation

CEC undergraduate student Laura Nicklaus was one of the top 3 students who was given the Adventus Americas Award for Student Presentation at the prestigious 25th Annual International Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water and Energy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst
October 19-22, 2009. Ms. Nicklaus also received a $1000 cash award. Dr. Robert Fuessle from CEC and Dr. Max Taylor from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry were her mentors.


CEC AGC Chapter earns third place at the Associated School of Construction Estimating Competition

This estimating team is the first in the history of Bradley University to earn an award at the the Associated School of Construction Estimating Competition. Shown here from left are the estimating team members: Tyler Gilmore , David Skaggs, Bill Knapp, Patrick Cotter, Andrew Crebo, and David Watts. The team received a $500 check for their AGC chapter. Professor Burl George is their advisor.
